Fit & measuring
Can you see your scalp? Measure the area where your hair is thinnest, then add about 3/4 to 1 inch so the clips sit on healthy hair. If your thinning area is wider than the base, a wig may suit you better.
Clip the topper into your own hair at the front first, then the sides and back. Blend your own hair over the edges.
Comfort, glasses & first wear
- First wear: brush gently, place the front at your natural hairline, then pull the back down over your nape. Adjust until it feels secure.
- With glasses: put the wig on first, then slide the arms of your glasses over it, not underneath.
- Comfort: a thin wig cap underneath keeps your own hair flat and makes the wig sit smoothly.
- Make it yours: a hairdresser can trim the fringe or shape the cut to suit your face.

Colours look different on every screen. Compare the photos in daylight next to your own hair. Grey and salt-and-pepper shades blend silver with darker strands, so they look natural against a range of tones.
